Croquet is a great sport and it suits a wide range of people, offering fresh air, physical and mental exercise, fun and friendship. 

For many, it’s a completely new hobby where they might enjoy internal competitions or just playing socially whilst others may take the opportunity to play in some beautiful places throughout the UK or the other side of the world.

Nailsea & District Croquet Club was formed in 1981 and is now well-established as a centre of excellence. 

There are 4 full-size lawns which were levelled in 2017 and continue to be maintained to a high standard, alongside a clubhouse with kitchen, welfare facilities and onsite parking. 

The Club is a member of the South West Federation of Croquet Clubs and is frequently used as a venue for high level events / major championships, including X

The playing season is from 1 April until the end of October, weather permitting.

Both Association Croquet and Golf Croquet are  played at Nailsea, with a wide variety of members, ranging from complete beginners to international standard players.
